From Tech CEO to Restaurateur: Dave Shah Launches European-Inspired CasaDamí in Newport Beach

Dave Shah, best known as a tech CEO, joined forces with Camilla Caremoli to open CasaDamí in Newport Beach’s Peninsula Village this March. Their all-day café and wine bar embraces European leisure, offering coffee and pastries in the morning, counter-service lunch, and tapas-style small plates paired with a wine list of over 175 bottles for dinner.

The venue features a cozy 15-seat marble bar and a floral patio seating about 40 guests. CasaDamí aims to provide a seamless, community-driven experience from sunrise espresso to evening wine and cheese.
